All Paths Lead to Home...
If only we had a road map to take us through life - a guidebook presented to us at birth that would show us the way home. Maybe we do! And part of the excitement in life is found in learning to pay attention to all the little signs along the way that point to "this way" or "that." Sometimes when we are searching for an answer, a total stranger may have what we need. Sometimes when we need a friendly ear to listen as we work out a problem, the phone rings and brings us a friend! And sometimes information we are looking for just shows up on a sign along the road! Have fun as you watch your story being written, and remember... angels are everywhere!

Dearest Dream Girl,
You might not know me yet and I'm not sure I know who you are either, but you and I will be in love someday. I think about you all the time. I wonder about what you look like, what things you like to do, and what it is about you that will make me fall in love with you when I find you.
However, there are a few things that I know about you already; I know that you are a faithful daughter of our Heavenly Father and that you have a testimony of the gospel. I know that temple marriage is one of your goals and you don't want to settle for less. I know that you are sweet and kind and you are feminine and fun loving.
Although you like to laugh and have a good time, I know you look at life seriously. Dream Girl, I'm not interested in the girl who gives her lips freely, or the girl who is immodest in dress and conduct. I'm not interested in the girl who changes her standards to fit her company, the girl who can't see anything wrong with an occasional cigarette, and occasional drink, or an occasional bout of immorality. I'm not looking for you among questionable company. I'm not looking for you at shady parties because you are not there.
Neither of us are perfect. Yet we will love each other for what we want to be as well as what we are. And we both see eye to eye we will kneel hand in hand and seek the inspiration of the Father. There will not be many tomorrow's until we find each other. I'm waiting anxiously for that day!
Stay sweet and pure because I'll be looking for you.
Until then, Sweet dreams,
Your Future Husband

The Lord works in mysterious ways. It may be through a reoccurring thought accompanied by a warm fuzzy feeling or through a friend or stranger. Though unexpected or not known why, we need to act on these thoughts, feelings, and accounts. We need to make sure to be prepared and ready for what comes at us. We never know when, where, how, or why we go through certain things but I KNOW that we were chosen to be a tool in the hand of the Lord and I KNOW the Lord has chosen a specific path for us. Each of our paths are different. Though they may cross we will always have a special plan and path we need to follow. Our purpose is made known through the paths we take and through our decisions made along the way. Decisions good and bad make up who you are and who you are choosing to become. Following the Lord will always end in blessings and a more beautiful spirit. Lets let our light shine by obeying the Lord and following the promoting of the Spirit.

temple on the mount
Returning home with muddy shoes, dirty clothes, & a sore body.. I most definately succeeded in "roughin" it at Young Women's BOOTcamp. When first arriving at camp we started out with the obstacle courses. These included the spiders web, tight rope walking, swinging tree trunks, and my favorite.. the zip line. These obstacles were all physically challenging and all required the ability of team work. We were able to learn how to use each others strengths and solve each challenge course by involving team work. We not only applied the "physical" aspect to our lives but also the spiritual.. We were able to learn how these 'challenges'' apply to us spiritually by thinking about the obstacles we face in our day to day lives. We discussed how each challenge can be a challenge in our lives today and through working together, staying on the straight and narrow path, holding strong to our faith, and preventing our testimonies from faltering; we will overcome any temptation.
Heber Valley Camp was definately one to remember.. ♥ through the beauty of nature all surrounding and over 6400 acres of land accessible to the use of the campers, it was a memorable experience. We went on several hikes. One down to the lake & the other to see the stunning view of the Heber valley. One of my favorite experiences was hiking to the lake to go canoeing. When we arrived to the lake we got our gear, jumped in a canoe, and set out on the beautiful water. When everyone was on the lake we had two minutes of silence.. What a wonderful moment that was.. to be able to look all around and see the gorgeous creations of our Heavenly Father.
What an amazing experience I had to be able to be with ward friends, to make new stake friends, & to build my own testimony.
I am so happy to say that this isn't the end of my adventures this summer of 2011! From the wonderful 24hours I have been home I leave tonight to visit my BF in MONTANA! I am so excited for the opportunity to stay for an entire week & have some fun in the S U N!! ☀
